All Riding Holidays
All riding holidays begin with an assessment session and are supervised by experienced guides. This allows guests to settle in, build confidence with their horse, and ensures each riding experience is tailored to individual ability.

Our Horses
We work with a herd of happy, mostly home-bred and home-trained horses. Our riding holidays are built around the partnership between horse and rider — our motto is “pro-horse”.
Horses and ponies live outdoors in a herd, enjoying the freedom of extensive pastures. We breed Irish Draught Horses, Irish Sport Horses, Connemara ponies and Irish Cobs, and always have a selection of well-schooled horses and ponies for sale.
Accommodation
Accommodation ranges from self-catering or B&B to a hotel break. Non-riding travel companions can be accommodated at request.

Island View Riding Stables now specialises exclusively in equestrian holidays.
- No casual rides or stand-alone lessons
- Riding available only to residential guests
- Full access to lessons, beach rides, day rides and island rides.
- Riding for special needs clients is available by appointment.
- Livery (grass or stable): A limited number of livery places are available for clients with their own horses, with their own personal accident and own public liability insurance. Guiding services and lessons will be available for livery clients.
- We continue to breed, train and sell horses.
